Micro Registration

For your screen - how close is it to the platen when you do your registration? What I am asking, is does the screen "lift" when you tighten the registration micros on the printhead? Does the screen "droop" when you loosen the head to begin registration?

Just picked up a silver press with the old style micro registration heads when I register a image and then tighten the micro to lock it in place it moves and is out of registration. Any suggestions?
