  • Pressure washer on coated screens issue

When I go to wash out an exposed screen or reclaim a screen, the pressurized water hitting the emulsion is really painful on my ears. Is this normal as the emulsion is a solid layer, or is this something I can adjust?

It's pretty good when I'm a distance away, but if I need to get closer for details, it becomes loud and painful.

Hi Jeni - some people are more sensitive to loud reverberations. It could also be where you are spraying out your screens, it creates an amplifying effect pointed back at you. Yay acoustics! There is nothing wrong with wearing noise canceling head gear - I know many printers who choose to do that.
